Umm.... everyone can do better than minimum wage. All they have to do is strive. People love to complain about what they make, yet refuse to get up and do something about it. People are losing the will to survive.
If you want to make more than minimum wage, then get the education, or training you need for a better job. You get what you put in.

I know I could do better than minimum wage if I was allowed to negotiate my own wage. I don't need a federally-instituted minimum wage to make ends meet.

I make minimum wage. I work for a company who's CEO made $100 million last year. They should raise the minimum wage.
