I'm 30wks, 5 daysand some days my baby is super lazy in there , while other days she moves and kicks around like a mad woman. It makes me crazy b/c I'll compare one day to another and start worrying that something may be wrong if her movement is less frequent. Any1 else have this experience and when is it reasonable to worry???

My daughter was very much the same. It's reasonable to worry only because you're a mom in the making, but there's really nothing to worry about. As long as you feel her moving at some points throughout the day. It's very indicative of how her personality will be. You, hopefully, will be lucky enough to have a baby that likes to chill sometimes and may not need constant stimulation.

I'm going through this right now. I'm only 21 weeks but I find the same thing. Actually today, I was feeling a bit worried because the baby was doing aerobics or something in there all day yesterday and now today I've only felt it kick a couple of times. Perhaps the baby isn't being "lazy" but maybe it's just in a position where we can't feel the movement as much like if it's turned to the inside kicking our intestines around instead of our bellies. I've heard when you're further along you can count the number of fetal movements per hour. If you're really worried, I'd suggest asking the doctor if you should be counting the movements. I'm not super worried at this point but I'm going to ask my doctor at my appointment next week.

Yep! My little Gabriel is almost 26 weeks, and he will have days (like today) where he wont stop kicking me. And others where I freak out.

I just push around on my belly or pat my belly or listen to some music he likes, and he'll usually give me a couple solid kicks to let me know hes alive and well.

I would say dont worry unless you try for a long time to get the baby to move, and you dont feel her at all, all day long. They say at 30 weeks you should track movements. Maybe keep a tiny notebook with you and jot down the times when you feel her? If you feel 10 in the am and 10 in the pm, they say the baby is fine.

Good luck and Congrats!

its just really cramped in there, so no worries unless your baby doesnt move for a few days, in that case, you'll know when something is wrong. As long as they move once a day or two days, their ok.

It is completely normal. Babies just like to have lazy days too just like us. Don't worry about it unless your baby stops moving all together. congrats and good luck.
