Not as something else.
But I think each of us as individual souls, are in this life to learn lessons that will help our souls grow and mature. If we don't learn those lessons in this lifetime, then we will have to come back again to learn the lessons we missed.
When we have learned all the lessons required in this stage of development, I think the soul consciousness moves on to the next phase of it's existence.

No I don't. I think that part of your fate is decided for you, you just have to work with what you have and you can choose the other half of your life in the decisions that you make.
I believe that when you die, you are in more-or-less a 3D world very different from our world today that indescribable in any language.. Your soul will live on no matter how you acted.
If you weren't the best person you could be (hell) but yet you weren't the best person you could be (heaven) your soul will stay on the earth ("spirits" "ghosts" )until you figure out what it is that will complete your life.
I don't care if you agree with me or not..

in Buddhism, they believe so. But, you can either be an animal or a human. The Da Lai Lama gets re incarnated every single time he dies. and its his men's job to go find him. As a matter of fact, the current Da Lai Lama has been in his position for like 50+ years. They finally found him 3 years after he died. They tested him and he passed the test. Only the real Da Lai Lama would know. His task was to pick out his things. There was 2 of everything. Some of his belongings were new, some were old. So, each object had a new and old object. And he had to pick out all of his belongings.. After like 30 objects..they knew it was him..and he has sat in his seat since he was 3....

Certainly. We are not these bodies, We are eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Vishnu, Jehovah, etc. We have to reconnect to stop the repeated cycle of birth disease, old age and death. Animals eat sleep mate and defend as do humans but we have the opportunity to transcend this cycle. If one does not connect with their Maker, and give all material desires, and purify all karma, they will surly take birth in the material world again in one of the 8,400,000 species or on one of the innumerable planets. This is the law of nature and Karma. The quickest and easiest way to come to our pure self and purify all karma is to chant the Maha Mantra- for more info go to harekrishnatemple.c Read Bhagavad Gita as it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada- which tells the purpose of human life.

According to the oldest scriptures in the world, the Vedas, we definitely take birth many many times. (God's original recycling???)
Who you come back as is determined by your activities in this lifetime--- the karma, good and bad, that you have earned for yourself, and your consciousness at the time of your death.
if you have the mentality of a dog or hog, that will be your next birth. If you have the mentality of a saintly person, you will be born in a situation where you can continue your spiritual practices and perfect them to the point of never returning to the material world.
The ultimate goal of reincarnation is perfection of the spirit soul--- which means developing your love for God. When you actually love God perfectly and desire to serve Him, you automatically love and serve all His parts and parcels, the individual souls, and you become aware of your eternality, filled with all knowledge, and become blissful-- "sat, chit, ananda"
Try reading "Bhagavad Gita As It Is by AC Bhaktivedanta Swami. The Bhagavad Gita is one of the foremost scriptures of Vedic philosophy, and this translation is considered by many scholars to be the most accurate. The purports also help make it very understandable and 'down to earth'

I believe in the "possibility" of reincarnation. But if it's true, and it really does happen, I believe I'll come back as Someone else, Not Something. Only humans have souls. I won't be coming back as another species, or a flower or tree or something.

I believe in rebirth, not reincarnation. Rebirth just means you live another human life over, reincarnation implies you can be some other creature.
