It's Probably old as Like Only 400 mhz or something and even trying to run the latest InternetExplore7 Will Freeze it, or Something else stupid like the last dude put XP on it.

If It's That's The Case, reformat & Put An Old Os on Like Windows '98

I would start by running a check disc to see if there's any errors with your disc. You can do this by locating My Computer (either on Desktop or by clicking on Start Menu.

Right click on C: Drive and go to properties. Left click on properties. Click on the second tab that says Tools and then click on Check Now under Error checking. Check both boxes. You will get a window that says must run at next startup, and asks if ok to run at next startup. Click yes, and then restart computer.

This will check disc for errors, and may take an hour or so to run.

You might be overheating or your power supply might be going bad...use SpeedFan to check your temperatures and voltages. If those are fine, it could be a program you have running is causing a conflict.
