I can't find any stories about the whole boston Aqua Teen incident that re-cap what happen.

Boston has got to be THE dumbest city on the face of the planet for this one!! How does a light up 2D sign look anything like a bomb?

Fans or employees of Turner Broadcasting set up light boards with one of the Mooninites giving the finger near the bases of buildings and bridges as a promotion for the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Movie. They were set all over the country, but Boston called in the Bomb Squad, thinking it was a terrorist attack and now they're threatening lawsuits.
It's total BS.

put very simply. some random guy put a few boxes underneath an important bridge in boston. the govt freaks out because they think its probably some kind of terrorist attack and sends a bomb squad in. it turns out its just a few light up signs with adult swim characters on them.... so the ultimate goal for this dude was really just for some extra advertisement (which is what he got); but since the govt overreacted, he may have to go to jail for his supposed 'stunt'

It is really crazy. The city of Boston wants Turner broadcasting to pay millions of $$ I say they deserve to pay those milky morons nothing at all.

convinced-police were given thanks to excited over this. And no caricature community would not decide on to save apoligizing over this. that is over. that is humorous, little question there, yet flow on. It made the Boston PD look undesirable for blowing up mild brights with a finger flipping Mooninite on it. now to not indicate that it took 10 days for them to confirm a situation with the flaws-yeah i think safer now! --and the promoting individuals do not deserve detention middle for this!!! I doubt the different interesting commercials like this can pop up again, lesson discovered-police officials can not take a comic book tale-each body purely flow on!
