1. Try something in physical science such as mixtures like vegetable oil and water, food color, and alcohol. Discuss and explain that oil is non-polar the others are polar. In a graduated beaker mix the oil and water see what happens and why. Add the food color see what happens. Then do the same for adding alcohol. Or build a model roller coaster and talk about force, energy, and motion /Newtons Laws.
2. TLC may mean The Learning Channel or Tender Loving Care.

Try seeing if an animal prefers a certain color. Make a maze with two different paths. both are correct but they are both different colors! ( red and blue !) I don't know about the second one..
