i bought one a week after it came out and i love it. i was actually shopping for an iPod when i saw the zune and thought what the heck. i bought it and i love it to death. it's much better than an iPod and i'm very happy with it. i recommend getting one.

It's ok, not enough to dethrone the iPod though...
Most of its different features aren't used as well as they could be, and the song sharing thing sucks because if you send someone a song they can only play it 3 times before it's erased (and playing the first couple seconds and stopping it counts as 1 play). Of course it's really uncommon to find someone with another Zune to share with in the first place.

I got one for Christmas and I love it. My daughters have Ipods so I can compare. The screen is bigger on the Zune, you can listen to the radio, you can connect to other Zunes and send them songs to listen to for 3 days. It also allows you to use any of your pictures as a background. Those are the main differences.
