An officer told me that Cops was so old that it was out of date. Other than that the closest to reality are the Law and Order shows.
My Criminal Justice instructor says that he watches "Reno 911" and he relates to it, because it reminds him of a lot of the people and situations he experienced while he was an officer.

My husband is a cop and he doesn't watch it. His theory is why watch something on TV that you do at work.
