As a kid, I was very overweight and really unattractive. I had big poofy hair; gapped, crooked teeth; several moles on my face, all my clothes we're from the thrift store and on top of that my family couldn't afford to wash clothes a whole so I kinda smelled bad.
Well, I didn't have any friends. Well ok I had one friend in the "special needs" class so I never really got to see her.
Anyway, Valentine's Day was the WORST in school. I would only get a Valentine card from teacher (I would give a card to each and every kid in the class, ALL HAND MADE)
In the 5th grade I made a beautiful card for the cutest guy in my whole class. It was better than any of the other ones I made.
I had wrote a poem addressed to him on the inside along with my name at the bottom, in pencil. He erased our names and kept the poem but HE GAVE IT TO THE PRETTIEST GIRL IN THE CLASS and pretended he had made it for her. I was crushed. I still haven't gotten over it, and I'm 22 now.
How do I forget it?

We all wish we didn't have any encounters with a cruel or nasty
person at one time or another. There are alot of ways to handle
this but in the end you get hurt , so my advice to you is to don't
wish them bad luck ,it could turn around and happen again to you.
Instead forget them completely and wish yourself only good things
to come to you for turning the other cheek , so to speak.Sooner or
later those crude people will get theres but not by you. Stay as
cool as you are now. Good things will happen to you. Good luck.

I am sorry this all happened to you, but you are grown now, let it go. Kids ARE cruel, and they do tease the overweight and smelly. The fact of the matter is, you survived it. Life is great and full of endless possibilities, don't let something so many years ago ruin who you are now. Obviously, even back then you had talent or that boy wouldn't have used YOUR poem to give to the other girl. Focus on the positive hun.

Yeah...Valentine's Day sucks. How do you forget? But forgiving this guy...you can make a card (since you're creative) and in it tell him what he did and how it hurt you but that you forgive him. Seal it in an envelope, tuck it away somewhere, then forget about it. Guaranteed you'll be making new cards for new cute guys in no time.
And remember...5th grade boys aren't the most mature of beings. They can be insensitive and awkward and unthinking about others' feelings. So don't be too hard on him.

Let it go! If you are 22 now you aren't the same person that you were then. You can always look this guy up and tell him just how hurt were, and what a jerk you think he was. He may remember, and then again he may not. Ether way you need to get it off your chest. Who knows maybe this guy turned out to be a real creep.

Put it down to their ignorance and lack of maturity and dont give them the satisfaction of upsetting you over something that happened years ago as if you let things like that upset you years after they happened it only hurts you the most and that means they have won so let it go and it will be you that wins as those who laugh last laugh the longest! its a woman's trip. for adult adult males we could continually make the circulate. if ur a woman and single, than there is something incorrect with u. women persons get hit on each and all of the time. if a woman techniques a guy, the achievement value is bigger than a guy coming near a woman. being single female on valentines day is like saying no turkey on thanksgiving. merely doesnt make any sense supply up whining. pass to a club, hit the dancefloor, grab a guy and take him living house. ninety 9.9% adult adult males will shop on with. u women persons nonetheless ***** lol. for us adult adult males if use the same technique decrease than a million% women will come shop on with us living house.

School is the worst. You just have to try to forget about it because there's no remedy to make it go away. I mean, school is over now, I'm just waiting to get out of school so I can leave all the crap that happened to me behind
