Depends. Are you both mature enough to be civil after the relationship ends? Is this person going to tell all your private business to the people at work?

No. It is NEVER a good idea to date someone from work. What if you two start, get serious and then break up?? Do you want to see him everyday then? No, you wouldn't. Think about that first before you jump into a relationship. And relationships / office should ALWAYS be kept separate.

NO.......it is never a good idea to date a co-worker so if you can help it at all I suggest you not do it.

I worked in corporate america for over 21 years and let me tell you, I have seen fights like you would never believe and the gossip that comes with it is horrible.....and if things don't work out you have to see that person everyday and if he's petty he will try to make you jealous by flirting with other women in front of you...just all kind of foolishness........A co-worker once told another co-worker that had a crush on him that "You don't meet your honey where you make your money" and that is so true. I would say DON'T DO IT.....

The standard rule of thumb for men is to never dip your pen in company ink, lol. Does this person work with you everyday? If so, I would say don't date them. If you do and get along real well, you will not only be seeing this person every day, but perhaps at night as well. That's something to ponder.
