A period that has skipped while you were on the pill?
I switched birth control pills in December and had a normal period in January. I took my last pill of the pack Saturday and still have not had a period this week.
Pregancy is out of the question because I have not had sex since October (a personal decision me and my fiancee made).
I went to the doctor this morning and she preformed a pregnancy test just to be sure. It came back negative, of course. She told me that it could be caused by stress or taking an antibiotic earlier this month. She has scheduled me a pap-smear (however you spell it lol) next weekend.
Have any other women experienced this? Was everything okay after that?

Some womens' periods are very apt to be skipped or doubled, even on the pill. If you are able/ don't mind, ask your mother. These things run in families...my mother's family are heavy bleeders and I've stayed on hormones since I was 17 to control the bleeding--I still bleed through.

In times of high stress, surgeries or auto accidents, I've actually skipped a period, too. You're taking care of the medical stuff and that's great!

I had the same issue. I had a great pill, then my doc changed it. My periods would either come every 2 weeks or not come all together. I am one of theose women that set an alarm so that I take it at the same time everyday.

By the way - this new pill worked so well that I now have a daughter that is just over a year old. I got pregnant on the pill.

Low dose pills suck!
