I am a 20 year old guy and have been going out with someone for the past 3-4 months. We haven't spoken about it yet but have been more than just good friends. Do I need to ask her to be my valentine or take it for assumed?

Am I supposed to take some small gift when asking?

To answer your question, YES!

# Prepare Valentine cake in the shape of HEART.

# Take her out for a long romantic drive.

# Send bouquet of Roses with a love note.

# Leave a small gift hidden in some corner of home with clues to its where about.

# Don't buy a card, rather make it yourself (& it works).

# Go Dancing together.

# Buy a nice set of lingerie/briefs.

# Write a sincere, wonderful love letter.

# Give her/him a nice sensuous message.

# Kiss and Hug your spouse often.

# Decorate the house especially for your spouse on Valentine's Day.

# Propose your spouse again.

# Arrange a special Valentine's dinner for your parents (at least an hours drive from home) and arrange a Valentine bash, for your sweetheart at your house.

# Play chess (oops)

# List down twenty-five things that you like about your sweetheart and fifty things that you don't like. (Count yourself lucky if the second list does not exceed ten, but kick yourself in the @#$$ if you manage to list fifty)

# Confess…

# Sketch something for your sweetie pie.

# Cook a special dish (If it's your first attempt, keep those antacids handy).

# Just take time out to express your feelings, thoughts, fears and even fantasies to her.

# Prank: Give your valentine the keys of your new car and then tell her that it's the only the keys you can afford now.

# Take a long walk holding each other's hands.

# Brush or comb her/his hair

# Let her sleep while you watch over the children

# Read out romantic/erotic poetry to your Valentine

# Start saving for a special holiday fund for the two of you

# Make New Year resolutions together (though it's kinda late for that) and try to follow them.

# Exchange a list containing each other's likes and dislikes.

# Visit a place where you've always wanted to go, but never got the chance.

# Just lie on the beach and star gaze.

# Go bungee jumping.

# You may try visiting an orphanage and talking to the kids.

# Have video game competitions at the arcades

# And finally, whatever you do, just let your hair and your defenses down, and enjoy each other's company.
