If San Diego gets a new football stadium, should the super bowl be held there every year?

I've heard that the NFL would like San Diego to host most of them, but they don't because of the crappy stadium San Diego has.

The Super Bowl is held in different cities every year for a reason. The game adds a lot to the local economy. Hotels, restaurants, car rental agencies, airports, stores, and other businesses in the Super Bowl city all have a large increase in business for the game.

Some cities are more popular than others, but all will benefit from holding the Super Bowl. If the game is held at a popular warm area, (Florida, California, New Orleans before the flood) people will travel to the game and spend several extra days enjoying the area.

When the game was held in Detroit, most people only were there for the game, and they left the area quickly afterward. There were not many reasons to stay over in Detroit in the winter!!!!

The NFL owners are not going to put the Super Bowl in one area permanently.

I doubt if San Diego can get a new stadium. I don't see another Super Bowl coming to that city anytime in the near future.

God willing, San Diego will not get a new football stadium; or, if it is built in a nearby city (current plans are in San Diego County but not the city). I don't want another penny of my taxes to go to a stupid sports team. We were horribly ripped off by the Chargers years ago (we paid for upgrades to the old stadium, and had to guarantee a certain number of ticket sales) and then we got ripped off by the Padres, funding their stadium, paying for extra police and events. Professional sports teams should be 100% self sufficient (all parking, all policing, all management, all land, all buildings). I hope the Chargers move somewhere far far away from here.

Why would they hold it there every year? Not going to more than 5 stadiums is crap already.
