One of the reasons for post-coital bleeding may be the presence of severe dysplasia of the cervical cells. This is a precancerous condition which in most cases is treated successfully by cryosurgery or by means of a cone biopsy of the cervix. I did suffer from severe dysplasia in 1994, a cone biopsy was done, and have had no recurrences of the condition to this day. If left untreated, a "carcinoma in situ" can develop; this would require an hysterectomy {removal of the uterus}. Make an appointment with your Gyno ASAP, tell him/her that you have been bleeding after sex, and request that a PAP test and/or a punch biopsy be done. Good luck, and hope that everything turns out for the best.

You could be in the early stages of endometriosis, pain during and after sex is common with this, also the bleeding is a sign. You probably will also feel a kind of "weight" or "heavy aching" in your lower abdomen, not like cramps, but this dull achy feeling. This can sometimes be controlled with hormone replacement, sometimes it leads to surgery as it did with me. Do you feel a little pain during sex, also in that dull achy area? Go see your gyno and have it checked out, better to get it early and be able to control it. Good luck.

you have what was once prevalent as a cervical erosion.... not something to rigidity approximately, yet get your guy to be gentler. If the bleeding is heavy, or you have a super form of discomfort, see your wellbeing practitioner, who can refer you to a women persons's wellbeing unit, if mandatory
