Honey, losing your mucus plug is completely normal considering how far along you are. It just means that your cervix is dilating, which it will probably do very slowly(since its your first), and getting you ready for labor. You can actually lose your mucus plug around a week before you go into labor, so you could still be days away from labor. My mucus plug fell out a week before my due date and I ended up having to be induced nine days AFTER my date. You should just look out for contractions. If you start having them steadily, contact your OB/GYN and let them know whats going on. They will tell you what they want you to do next such as wait for your contractions to get to 10 minutes apart or have you go ahead and go to the hospital. Good luck and don't worry, every thing will be great! Good luck and congratulations!

You should go into labor any day now. Just remember since this is your first pregnancy, call your doc immediately if your water breaks or if your contractions are 10 mins. apart for any length of time. Good Luck.

I lost my mucus plug a week before I was induced w/ my first one. Just make sure you call your doctor if you star feeling a lot of pressure and cramping in your lower back or if your water breaks while at home. Congratulations!
