It's not Van Halen without ol' Diamond Dave singing lead (sorry, but they put out nothing but commercial-pop-wanker-$h!t with Sammy Hagar), but I'm not sure about Wolfgang filling in on bass duties for Michael Anthony. But hey, it's not like they're talking about replacing Eddie or Alex (can't be done), so it might work just fine. It's not like Mike was a premier bass player like Geddy Lee or Rudy Sarzo or Nathan East...

No way I think it is crap that they kick out someone who helped them get big so Wolfgang can join because he is Eddie's son. I think they should go on tour with Diamond Dave & the Red Rocker Sammy Hagar.

We're gonna find out, becuase they're going on tour soon, with Wolfgang taking over bass from Michael Anthony and DLR back at vocals.

they are going to tour with or without Dave cause they now there will ALWAYS be a audience for them to play for, and people will pay the big bucks to see them.

That's still the plan, isn't it?

I think the potential for disaster is going to bring in the crowds (and money) for them. So yeah, they should.

And if they shouldn't, are you going to stop them? If they can make money...who cares?
