I thought the Democrats supported the troops, isn't that what they proclaim, I mean ignoring the occasional spitting on troops back from Iraq of course.. Besides ,
" Despite a year of ferocious combat, mounting casualties and frequent deployments, support for the war in Iraq remains very high among the active-duty military, according to a Military Times Poll.
Sixty-three percent of respondents approve of the way President Bush is handling the war, and 60% remain convinced it is a war worth fighting. Support for the war is even greater among those who have served longest in the combat zone: Two-thirds of combat vets say the war is worth fighting."

Never! That would be mutiny & we don't ever want the military to take over the government of this country.
To a certain extent this was tried at Kent State when we sent in the National Guard to quell the riots. There was a hew & cry that was heard all over this country. Evidently we are very leary of using the military for other than what it is supposed to do & that is to wage war against our known enemies out side the county or terroist within the country. The military should never be use against our own people, Never!

No I would not supp port a violent coup. We have a republic that elects the President. We do not have to support any violent attempts to overthrow our democracy; use the ballot box.
You are advocating violent overthrow of the government and threatening the President; enjoy your visit from the FBI and Secret Service.
Just fir your information the troops overwhelmingly support the Pres dent.
That is the problem with you wacko leftists; you make threats when you forget that us stupid conservatives have all of the firearms and the military on our side.
Maybe liberals should instigate a civil war; we need to cleanse the gene pool anyway.

Oh wow. Funny how I think of something...and someone posts the very question!
Yes, I would support them MORE if they were to do that. Why? Because all people taking an oath "promise to defend the Constitution of the United States against foes both foreign and domestic." Or words very close to that. They SWEAR to uphold the Constitution people! And our leaders are not doing that. So, I think it would be very fair if they DID come back and march on Washington! Please don't forget the very words of George Bush:"The Constitution is a god damn piece of paper." November, 2005. Wish more troops knew he said that.

Since the USA had a coup in 2001, AKA the 1-20-01 Tragedy, this would be a counter coup. But as in the French Revolution, the counter coup CAN be even LESS democratic and MORE oppressive than the coup. So I would say definitely MAYBE. There now seems to be a reasonable chance that the Dumbya Coup will self distruct.

Never happen the troops are there to for President Bush, all of us and our country. It's a matter of honor to them, not a question of right or wrong it's a job they will see through to the end.

What an asinine question.
What do I mean when I say I support the troops? The soldiers in the U.S. military, once they sign up for active duty, have no say with regard to where they go or what mission they're sent to perform. And once they've signed on, they aren't allowed to say no.
Many people in the military sign on because they have no other life options available to them. They aren't all in the military because they believe Presidents are perfect people with infallible decision-making skills.
I support the troops because they are my fellow countrymen. I support them the way I support a Republican's right to believe whatever he or she wants - this is America. We all have to accept one another whether or not we agree with our individual ideologies, religions, colors of skin, genders, sexual preferences, etc.
That is how I support the troops.

I consistently wait for questions like this one. with out fail they consistently deliver the dirt out in tension! the answer to the question asked (which additionally features a fact slanting or skewing the solutions)is: i think of that the two adult adult males interior the question care from the troops. i don't think giving a pittance of "over 5K" might desire to make any distinction while in comparison with the certainty that your determination has led to 1000's of deaths for the reason of Freedom. a extra sensible question asked could have been: Who cares extra for the troops? Liberals or Conservatives? the answer to that one hassle-free question is...., "Is my answer hateful in direction of everyone simply by fact they think in a distinctive way then I do?" occasion: I definitely have observed that maximum people who disagree with the President are very disrespectful or perhaps hateful wishing death or super actual harm on those that have a distinctive political slant. regrettably maximum individuals of the "hate speech" interior the political or non secular arenas are from the "Moderates" or "Liberals" simply by fact they don't in basic terms like the information being provided and hotel to stating themes from as a good distance lower back as 30-forty years in the past. in the event that they ("Moderates" or "Liberals") somewhat cared they could "volunteer" to furnish their funds to the IRS (quite then forcing anybody else that doesn't have extreme powered accountants to pay) so as that congress might desire to do their jobs of offering for the wellness and welfare of our troops.

No. That's a military coup. We're supposed to be better than that. Look at the countries where this has happened. They are a mess long afterwards.
