I purchased both products at Ulta's salon. I was told that the Feel Naturale One-Step makeup was to be used on top of the Bare Naturale powdered mineral foundation. If that is not correct, I would return them for a refund.

if you're going to use mineral makeup at all, please don't use one of the mainstream brands -- they put in tons of unnecessary chemical fillers. just read the ingredients list and you'll see what i mean. it's not "good for your skin" anymore when they put all the extra stuff in there!

even Bare Minerals adds bismuth oxychloride -- totally unnecessary, and breaks a lot of people out (myself included) or makes them itch.

there are a plethora of high quality mineral brands you can buy online, with minimalist formulas, that do an even better job than the store-bought ones. my favorite at the moment is www.aubreynicole.com, which has, if i recall correctly, only 4 ingredients in their foundation.

makeup-wise, my skin has never been happier, and i don't break out (like i did from MAC, Clinique, drugstore brands, etc.). =)

Everyone's skin reacts differently, I wouldn't blame it on the Bare Naturale stuff.... Maybe you should try to limit the cleansing and toning stuff on your face.. Once a day would be more than enough. You're sucking all the natural moisture from your skin.... Good Luck..
