can anyone tell me if i have a good chace of having a healthy set of twins .My grandmother was a feternal twin,no one ealse in my family has twins in this generation becouse it skips but i'm also only 25

Every pregnancy is different because each one involves a different cycle. If fraternal twins run in your family, that means that you release two eggs during ovulation. Losing one of the babies during this cycle isn't that uncommon - some scientist estimate that up to 1/8 of pregnancies are twins in the beginning and one of the twins disappears or does not develop.
As for future pregnancies, your odds stay the same with each cycle. So, if you have a 1/4 chance of having twins, you will have that same chance in the future.

What most people don't know is most of us start out as someones twin and for some reason there is a battle that goes on in the womb and a twin is lost. I don't think because you lost one that it would happen again. Chances are good you could get pregnant with twins again since it runs in the family. Identical twins are a fluke though and they happpen by chance

My aunt just lost her baby and her doctor person told her that you only have a 1in 10 chance of having another miscarriage if you have already had one. Good luck on trying to have another baby, and sorry to hear about the first one.
