All my photos on Flickr have the minor licensed restrictions for people to download my pics. These restrictions are all I could find on Flickr, yet many people have full copyright on their pics which means noone has rights to them or can download them. I've looked everywhere for this setting and can't find it. How do you set it for default copyright?

Go to the top tool bar and choose Organize. Scroll down and select, "all your photos" (this section permits you to organize 'all your photos', 'most recently uploaded photos' or 'sets').

Once you choose 'all your photos' a brand new page opens and you will then see ALL of your photos along the bottom of the page. You want to choose all of them and drag them into the open space in the middle of this work page.

Once they are there, there is a toolbar option that says, 'Edit permissions' I think it might also say change licenses or something like that. Basically what you are doing is saying, everything you just put in the work space, let's say 45 photos, I want to do this XXXX to." That can be a lot of options, but for you, you just want to change the licensing of the photos.

Once you click that, a box will open on the screen and ask you what kind of a license you want to add to the photos. I think there are about 6 different licenses you can choose from, and if you are uncertain about which one to choose, you can click on the Creative Commons link (they provide the licenses for Flickr users) You make your choice, click that and then it will apply that license to whatever photos you have already chosen.

I hope this helps, sorry I am a little long winded.

Oh... before you do all that you might want to go to the very bottom of your Flickr page, look for the link that says, Creative Commons.... go there, research which license will best suit your needs. Then go to Organize!

Good luck!

in case you are able to definitely, a hundred% instruct that it is your image, it is as much as you to ask for funds for having it on show. i don't make my living doing this, so I definitely tend to think of of it as a compliment, yet I do choose if somebody has the courtesty to ask. If i found out that they have got been advertising my stuff, i could have interaction a criminal expert. For the destiny, that's advisable to disable downloads from Flickr. human beings can see them only superb, yet they are able to't scouse borrow them. this could prepare to each little thing you have already got on Flickr to boot as destiny uploads. On Flickr, you're able to do right here to stay away from downloads: a million. click on "Your Account" close to the backside of the website - any web site. 2. click on the "privateness and Permissions" tab. 3. After "Who can acquire your stuff," click on "edit." 4. decide on "in basic terms you" and "save." Now, if somebody tried to acquire your photographs, they are able to't do it. in the event that they attempt a suited click, they are going to in basic terms get a "spaceball" or sparkling web site. in the event that they attempt a show screen catch, they are able to nonetheless try this, yet they are going to in basic terms get a small, low decision image that heavily isn't of lots fee. once you're nonetheless worried approximately that, flow forward and discover out approximately watermarking your artwork. you are able to upload textual content around the image at some thing like 20% opacity and it will artwork superb.
