A friend of mine is about to start a "cycle" and I'm really worried about the effects of them. I don't want him to get hurt. He is taking oral medicine to keep the testosterone from converting to DHT, so it shouldn't hurt his prostate or make him go bald.... Does anyone have some info for me?

Take it from somebody who has taken steroids in the past, do not do so. I am only 21 and I had taken steroids from the age of 18-20. It worked in the sense of bulking up, but it also overworked my kidneys and put me in the hospital 4 times in a year. Steroids can cause multiple organ failures, tumors, acne, hormone inbalance, rage, scarring, and in a lot of cases death. My recommendation if I were you is to print off some case studies on steroids and make him read them. I know my gf tried to stop me when I did it and I didn't listen, so he may not, but I wish your friend better luck than I had.

I would advise him to not do it. Because, it will affect his whole body. Such as his Testicles and Penis will shrink and lose effectiveness. He will become sterile. He will become very onry and mean. Steroids are a lot like Meth, they can make a person mean and unlikeable to be around. It is very bad for the heart causing a heart arythmia, Which is an irregular heart beat. So if you dont want your friend dying of heart failure at the age of 25 then I would advise him not to take them. It will damage your relationship with him also

Guess what folks with COPD take steroids every day
(with a Drs prescription)
There is a difference folks, about time you learned it
Too much prednisone can give false positive diabetes
Prednisone can make you gain weight
Asthma steroids show up in a sports drug test
Take what he is using, do a google search, Many places will list side effects and overdose statements about most drugs.

There is tons of info on them. Start looking it up. My friend and I compiled over 30 pages of info years ago. There must be more by now. In the end nothing good comes of them. You will feel great for awhile but, extended use of them will cause ill effects physically and mentally. Even years down the road after you stop using them. Tell him to man up and go natural. That's hoe the real tuff guys do it.

I just took a steroid pack a few weeks ago for a bad back. For the whole week I was on them, I didn't have any back pain. As a matter of fact, I got rock hard errections twice a night and had to have my wife take care of business. By the end of the week, she was happy I finished the steroid pack and let her catch up on her sleep.

I use to take symbicort 200, twice in the morning and twice at night, as i like you had adult on-set asthma after a bout of bronchitis. 2 years later i do not use anything anymore! it has cleared up. The steriod level in these inhalants are minimal, if you do not use them, you actually do more harm to your lungs! Dont forget to always rinse your mouth out after inhaling meds as your more susceptable to getting mouth ulcers and damaging the enamel of your teeth.

the use if steroids is very high risk of getting addicted to them. first they are against the law and second they may cause sickness and damage to your body.. talk to your doctor and see if you have any other options, but please do not use steroids they can be really bad for you.

Back about 15 years ago, a sports star named Lyle Alzado, died from brain cancer because of them. As he was heading for his death, he began speaking out against them, and his picture and words were even on billboards. He had been a great-looking guy, but looked worse and worse as death was rapidly claiming him.
