iPod question?

I've had my iPod for like 6 months. Today when I tried to turn it on it had a picture of an empty battery and a lightning bolt. I plugged it into my computer and nothing happend. What's going on?

Try disconnecting it and plugging it in again.

This used to happen to me, and then it just meant that the power was entirely depleted. It usually came back on after a half-hour of charging.

you might need to charge it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
make shure its off..... then plug it in...leave it there for a while so It can charge!!!!!!!
