When Vanessa Williams posed with another woman, the attitude towards lesbianism, whether real or implied, was alot different than it is today. Also there seems to be this attitude that no matter what you do now, as long as you apologise, people tend to forgive and forget.
One other thing, posing for photos is a choice, where an addiction is a sickness. Does it really matter either way? Hmmmm......

Times have changed. Apparently posing nude back then was a more terrible offense than using drugs is now. I don't agree with it, but that's just the way it is.

who knows why? its just the way the world is comfortable with all that now. It's probably only going to get worse. And on the other hand we have a tv actor who is homophobic who may get fired because of it!

I didn't hear about that.
So vanessa Williams, was it more like Playboy poses, or penthouse?
Either way we shouldn't be giving the young girls druggies to look up to.

They both should have been canned. I really don't know anyone that even watches the Miss America pageant though.

She would be okay if she worshipped the floating noodle. From the temple of noodleness, she would prosper greatly into complete conciousness. Praise the mighty floating noodle!
