yeah, always made sure no hands or feet were sticking out of the blankets for them to grab, laid vigilant on my back all night.

No. Mine lurked in the drains (small monsters are the worst). Ever notice that thr gratings on some drains will form droplets on the under side, and from the top they catch the light and reflect it back as a ring? Those are really monster eyes.
