Everday the floors get swept & vacuumed & all clutter gets put away & dishes get done as soon as dinner is over.
Then on certain days of the week I do certain things.
Monday the living room gets cleaned; dusted, glass done magazines get pitched, etc. Tuesday kitchen gets a top to bottom, Wenesday the bathroom & so on throughout the house.
Then I have a yearly list too, washing walls, behind the fridge, closets out, etc.
Having a list REALLY makes sure that I get the stuff done that needs it instead of, let's say....sitting & staring at the computer all day!
So to answer your question directly, yes my place is clean.
You can eat at the kitchen table, tell what color the carpet is & don't have to duck under the cobwebs.
But it is lived in, there is a pile of papers that need to be gone through & there are dishes in the sink from my hubby getting into the leftovers last night & on occasion smells like the dog. ;)

This is how it goes in my house. I start doing the laundry on Friday night and finish it on Saturday morning while my husband takes our daughters to gymnastics. After lunch, I go do groceries and my husband cleans the bathrooms and vacuums. When I come back from groceries, I clean the kitchen. On Sunday, I attack the basement ( I run a home daycare so when the kids leave on Friday, I don't go back down until I have to!) and my husband puts away the clean laundry. This is how it goes when we're not expecting company on the weekend, otherwise, it's a mad dash to make it look clean while throwing things in the closets.

My wife does the cleaning, she's a clean freak and cleans the house every single day for about 5 to 6 hours. She also sweeps and washes the driveway couple of times a week.We have little people in the house and our kids know to remove their shoes before coming inside the house. They're ages 1,3,5 and two on the way. The floors are hardwood and she has white rugs~she likes white, because she can see when they are dirty.

I'm not a neat freak but I clean a little every day....we all (3) clean up after ourselves as we go along.
My house is usually pretty clean and neat.
I have someone come in once a month for the big stuff so that helps.

Hi,
I actually clean up as and when I am free it's usually a saturday or a sunday. The other half keep busy with their own work. Actually my mom and my sister are the one who are kind of 'neat-freak'.

I don't have a house, but I hope to soon. When I do, I'll make a place for everything and generally keep everything in it's place. I live with my parents for now and their house is unbelievably messy. I'm helping them paint, clean, redecorate, organize, and purge the unnecessary stuff. I'm doing the same for my sister-in-law, who lives a few blocks away, though her house isn't so cluttered or messy, just normally so.

I would say that i qualify as "Or what". I hate to admit it but I am kind of a slob. I try to clean once a week, doesn't always happen. I am messy but not dirty.

I am not a neat freak but I like my house to be cleaned. I try on a daily basis to pick up after myself so I can have my week-ends to play...

most days of the week my house is a total wreck. my fiance and i both work full time, and we have 2 2 year old little girls. during the week, by the time we get the girls into bed, we're both too exhausted to clean, so we usually pick a day out of the weekend to do a massive overhaul on the house.
