LMAO!!! I cant tell you how many times I jump when the icemaker drops ice. I swear it only drops at night and after I have watched a story about ghosts or something. My husband makes fun of me because I jump everytime. You would think I would know by now what it is, but when you are in ghost mode, even your own hair tickling your back is in your mind a ghost touching you.

Yes! I have what is called "Night Terrors". Apparently, you are supposed to grow out of this as an adult, but not me.
Many nights I have these vivid dreams that seem so real. Most of them include me running away from a man/person and screaming. So I will wake up screaming, see my husband and freak out.
There was one time that I ran in to the bathroom then began to dial 911. As I was preparing to dial, I said "Honey are trying to hurt me?" And he said, "no, go back to bed." So at this point I start to wake up and realize . . .why am I in the bathroom holding the phone? Hmmm, am I dreaming? So I went back to bed. Dreams are crazy things!

The funniest sh*t.
I was home alone and freaking myself out because i have four cats that make TONS of noises, and my house creaks. So I was freaked and paranoid, I had to go to the bathroom and I also heared a noise, so I was sneaking up th e stairs, and saw my cat had made the noise. I went into the bathroom and caught a glimps of my own reflection in the bathroom mirror.
I screamed bloody murder. fell back into the hall AFTER I punched my own reflection.

Mirrors are not good to have around when you have freaked yourself out.

Here's a cool story ( i think anyway). when i was 12... I slept in a converted attic bedroom in which my parents stored a 2 foot statue of Jesus on the Cross. One night I came into the room, and the cross just fell over.... I could have sworn that the Jesus figure had jumped off the cross and was running at me.... I took off screaming....

hehehe. i laugh now, but then i was terrified.

i was reading this really scary book at night, and at about midnight i finished it. i was a little freaked out, so i decided to sleep with the light on. but then, like two seconds after i decided this, the power went out. it was a really windy night, so i guess a tree fell on the lines or something. so i sit there wide awake all night long completely scared out of my mind, and jumping at every sound.

There have been a few times a noise or shadow has made me nervous. I think its why I am such a fiend for locking every door and checking them twice before bed.

I rolled over once in bed and opened my eyes and saw a shrouded figure in my room. I started shaking and didn't know what to do until I realized that the shrouded figure was my blanket curled up. It gave me quite a fright.
