Just today?
Over the last few days, I've been helping my mother and my sister-in-law with their houses. I painted, decorated, washed, organized, and more. I bought food to keep the ones helping going. I gave my niece new jeans and my nephew several pencils.
Today, though? Hmm... I went to bed over in the morning and woke after only 3 hours of sleep to shower in time to take my niece and nephew to school, but then their mom wanted them to stay out after all. I decided I'd better get more nap in before I went to work-- don't want to be crabby to the customers or doze off as I'm on a break-- so I went back to bed. I only woke around noon, ate, packed my lunch, and came to the library. Not much time to do much good in the world.
On the whole, I'm a nice person, though, and I recycle and am generous and forgiving.

I spotted a question on the Religion & Spirituality site from a guy who seemed very depressed and in need of comfort. The answers he'd been given were insulting and negative. So I took some time to form an answer that, hopefully, would lift him up. It may not be much, but if we can't reach out and help other people then it's a poor show.

I gave some very good advice to several people that will make them a little better off financially
I made some of the lads in the office very happy by persuading one of the girls to put on a very skimpy dress she'd just bought
Tonight, I intend to spread a little love around in a local nightclub

I was really sweet and kind to a guy who was coming on a bit strong, and I kindly left him with his ego still firmly in place.
