All of a sudden, my second computer gives me an error message of "MSVCP60.DLL" is missing. It gives me the option of formatting the drive, which I'd rather not do. Any ideas???

I always try the simplest thing first. I'll tell you rather than assume you know and have done this. Click on Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Restore, and choose a date the computer was working right and restore it to that date. A better way to do the restore and to make sure that no programs you have loaded get in the way of the Restore, do it in "Safe Mode". You can do this by restarting your computer as you normally would but right after you click restart, keep tapping the F8 key. When your computer starts beeping, it has accepted the input and you'll get a menu. One of the options is "Start in Safe Mode" (no networking) this takes time and eventually you'll see lines on the screen you haven't seen before (just a warning) so don't get worried. Once the strange (no frills)Windows desktop comes up, do the restore process I outlined above. I hope this helps and good luck!
