The last time I used one, was about 3 years ago.
Here in my office, they are still used to fill in certain forms that cannot be filled any other way...(Unless by hand, but that is not very professional...)

Typewriters are old school. With all of the computers out there these days, there's no need for a typewriter. They don't have spell check and all of the other great functions of the more modern computers.

No. I think I last used one in 1995 in a typing class in high school. I don't remember the last time I used a typewriter that wasn't electric though. I think I was a child.

I am 47 and I have almost forgotten that they were ever made.........although in business class in high school, I had to use one.....but I graduated in 1977
