3(x^2 - 2/3x - 1/3)
= 3(x^2 - 2/3x + (1/3)^2 - (1/3)^2 - 1/3)
= 3[ (x-1/3)^2 - (1/9 + 3/9)]
= 3[(x-1/3)^2 - 4/9]
= 3(x - 1/3 - 2/3)(x - 1/3 + 2/3)
= 3(x - 4/3)(x + 1/3)
