Do you know what that is? A one followed by 11 zeros.

Where is that money coming from?

Of course, the middle class, that means you and me. Rich people don't use YA's, they have better things to do - like ask for more tax cuts.

How many schools could be built, teachers hired, police equipment provided, blah blah blah with 100,000,000,000 dollars?

I'm sick of this crap. Bring the troops home, let Iraq fester (it's going to anyways), and nuke Iran if they start feeling frisky. Let's use OUR money to fix OUR problems, like broken schools.

I don't want to hear any crap about "fighting them over there, or we will be fighting them here." That's BS, and you know it. The task of securing our own borders would be comparatively easier than regulating the whole world - all of Africa, the middle east, and Asia - for finding and eliminating terrorists.

The fact that we are spending 4 BILLION A MONTH and the enemy is spending mostly money they stole from the US and Iraq, is proof that we are losing, even if we win every battle from here on in.

Those who think we should stay "until the job is done" must really hate thier kids to put this massive debt on their shoulders.

We should have a new checkbox on the 1040 form where you can say "I supported the Iraq war and think it is critical to the survival of our country, and pledge to pay an extra 10% of my income in a war tax because the war is that important to me."

a million x 10^22. that massive of a huge determination does not propose something to human beings given which you won't be able to think of even 1000000000 issues in a pile or in one place. To get an excellent theory of the vastness of the universe, acquire Celestia, a unfastened universe form with assorted the time-venerated galaxies. it is likewise have been given a zillion photograph voltaic equipment products of their precise 3-d orbits in genuine time. you may commute around the photograph voltaic equipment, then flow to distinctive stars, then start up crossing to different galaxies. start up roaming around the galaxies for a whilst and you will see basically how absurdly enormous the universe is. There are too many galaxies. If our galaxy fought the movie star wars galaxy in an epic intergalactic conflict, something of the galaxies probable might in no way be conscious. it would be as insignificant as a conflict between 2 ants in a great wooded area

Its really like $170 Billion with the 'emergency spending' for this year. I don't think any other country in the whole world would think it is reasonable to outlay this kind of debt for the potential return. I seriously doubt they will ever get a handle on the sectarian and other violence in Iraq. It seems to be ingrained in their very beliefs.

You don't want to even hear the alternative viewpoint? You want to stick your fingers in your ears? I'm not saying that I agree or disagree with you, but I can not respect your position when you're not even willing to discuss an alternate position. A position that begins with, "I don't want to hear any crap about..." shuts down any point of discussion.

So what you are telling me is that our soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq don't deserve the 100 billion to accomplish their mission? Isn't that the same thing as not supporting our troops?

Your simple solution would allow Iraq to descend into a terrible situatation, and I love the way you think we can just nuke Iran without consequence. You need to spend more time thinking.

Thank you, Mark J, for that excellent example of the circular argument.

I'm sure that each and every one of our fallen troops felt "supported" by your little magnet ribbon.

HOW ABOUT SUPPORTING THEM BY LETTING THEM LIVE?!?!?!
