Democracy to loot Iraqi oil is not democracy, a sovereign nation has elected leaders by people from within, not from an occuping force, so is not democracy. the democracy Bush is impossing today is the same as Hitler,Stalin dictatorships. No Weapons ,we must get out, the lives of our marines in their early 20's is worth more then the pride of Bush and friends profits.

We have found plenty of WMD's in Iraq - the very ones the UN inspectors could not find year after year, the very ones Saddam used to exterminate entire villages. He had plenty left in his arsenal. And the mission was accomplished when the new government was elected.

The reason we are still there is because we respect the Geneva Conventions. We are obligated to maintain a security force until Iraq can handle its own police and national defense. Then we will be free to leave.

The reason Bill Clinton made it official policy (Iraq Liberation Act, 1998) to eliminate Saddam's regime by force and install a democratic form of government is that Saddam refused to abide by the cease-fire. So, Clinton called off the cease-fire in 1998 and resumed bombing of Iraq. He failed to achieve the objective so Bush had to finish the job.

It doesn't matter about the WMD's at this point so I want get into that but if you believe we should leave without Iraq government being able to protect it's people and assets you must not understand what the cost would be for our future and the future of other countries. Iran (with their extremest ruler) would be the people controlling Iraq and Iraqi oil which would give them the resources to carry out what they have already stated ("death to the great Satan). Iran has already stated it's desire to destroy Israel also. Iran has the ability if given the chance to turn into our next Hitler and it just so happens that they are somewhat friendly with other rouge nations who are ahead of them in production of nuclear weapons. I cannot understand why so many people think that if we don't piss terrorist off they will leave us alone. They want us and all others who disagree with their extremist religious beliefs dead.

You evidently don't read the news. The IRAQI people voted their own leadership in already. They however are still arguing among the religious sects about who is in charge.
As to the WMD's, I am tired of explaining to people who have no idea what WMD is or how it can be hidden and moved. IRAQ is almost 95% desert, Hussein was in power for over 30 years. When we sent inspectors, he refused to let them in on certain days in certain areas. Wake up America, smell the coffee. He held them out so he could and did move the WMD. Simply saying there is none as it has not been found is wrong. The military field tests, of which I trust more than some lab people tests showed traces of nerve gas and other chemicals.
When you have almost 95% desert and are keeping the hounds at bay, you simply bury the evidence.

I do agree our marines lives are more important so are our Army, Air Force and Navy of which I retired after 24 years. We are not imposing a democracy such as Hitler. Go back and read about Hitler. He was FAR from a DEMOCRATIC follower. He wanted world peace: However he wanted it under GERMAN RULE. All others who opposed him in his rule were executed. Has Bush had anyone executed here for disagreeing with him?

Charro, - Why don't you ask an Iraqi ? Namely, the 2nd highest in command for Saddam Hussein's Air Force, General Georges Sada. This General has written a book called "Saddams Secrets - How an Iraqi General Defied and Survived Saddam Hussein". In this book the General describes how in the weeks building up to the war, Hussein had over 50 sorties (that's missions / flights) of gutted out passenger jets filled with chemical, biological and other WMD's flown into Syria and Iran. Hussein although evil, was not a stupid man, and knowing that the U.S. was coming, he wanted to make Bush look like a liar, which you and your ilk have greatly assisted him in. Of course, the Genral also points out that the U.S. could have been there sooner to intercept these flights and stop these weapons from falling into the hands of madmen, that believe it is their calling from Allah to use them to blow us all off the face of the earth, - but we were too busy having to explain and re-explain it all to the anti-war liberals at home who were in turn busy trying to tie the President's hands behind his back, while aiding and abbetting the enemy, as they have done with every war fought by this country for the last 50 years.

By the way, have you noticed how Al-Qaeda and AL Jazeera don't have to put out as many Anti-American propaganda tapes on TV anymore ? - That is because they don't need too, they just turn on CNN and the liberals on Capitol Hill are doing it all for them !

You are 100% correct. We are still in this so that we can control the oil of the only country in the world that has years to go before it hits peak production. Every other excuse is a lie. And the joke is that the world is going to run out of oil anyway. We just want to hoard it all. We will then have to protect our borders with nukes instead of just customs offices. It's going to be mad-max-like.

Another rant by someone who is obviously clueless....

If we are looting Iraqi oil, please tell me how it is helping our oil industry......

If there are no WMDs, why do we keep finding them? If there are no WMDs what did Saddam use to gas millions of Kurds with.

Your comparrison to Hitler and Stalin is obviously borne out of ignorance of who Stalin and Hitler were.

Tell you what, why don't you pick up a weapon, come on over and I'll show you around.... Oh I forget.... you are probably one of those libs that likes to demand your rights, but wont do anything to secure them.... never mind.

Exxon only had the biggest profit year in 2006. We need more profit, more money, more oil. That's why we are making a case for Iran. They have oil too.
