I would give up years of my life to spend another day in my Grandfather's company. We'd sit in his garage, watching the world pass us by, just like we used to. I wouldn't want to spoil the day by asking him questions or seeking advice. I'd just sit with him, talking only when we had something to say, watch him light up his pipe, the smoke filling the air with the soothing scent of vanilla or peach. The day wouldn't be a waste...it would be a glimpse of heaven.
