First of all, there is no such thing as a US Governor unless you're referring to the Governors of the Federal Reserve Board which are appointed and get their paychecks from a privately owned corporation.
If you're referring the the 50 states you would best serve yourself by referring to Secretary of State for each state in determining the exact laws governing the election/reelection of their State's Governor.
