the republicans will not only lose in 2008, but they will also lose in 2010, 2012 and so on.

the republicans have strayed very far from the herd indeed.

by making one of their foundations the radical christian fundies, they have taken on the look and sound of radicals themselves.

republicans have wanted americans to be afraid and it has worked - american is afraid of them...

What exactly is Denail? Is it a country? A city? I've never heard of this "Denail."

I guess if the conservatives are in a foreign country at the time of elections it could hurt their chances. It's more likely that by then the small majority of the population that the dems have managed to wrestle away, (which resulted in what was in fact a hell of a lot less seats taken than ANY out of office party has gained in an off year election in OVER 80 years) will have come to their senses and kicked all of your socialists butts back to the curb.

It will be interesting to see in 2008, liberals can only run on a platform of bashing a sitting President. With George Bush leaving the Liberals will have to actually have ideas on how to fix some of the problems we face instead of bashing Bush.

A liberal having to run on the issues and defend his position, the situation looks gloomy for the left.

Bush is not an issue in 2008, why would it be? He's stepping down. Sorry, but you can't use your favorite excuse for the world's problems in 2008.

Now the new candidate will have to deal with the war on terror, try to be positive in assessing them.

I find it funny that people can declare this war a failure when we are clearly still there and haven't started backing down yet. I'm guessing you know how to read the future. You should think about taking up a job as a fortune teller. Or is that already your job?

did not John Kerry and Hillary Clinton vote in prefer of the conflict? might you vote for them back? If the pro-conflict as against anti-conflict stance is the form you establish, you would be voting out a super form of incumbents.

We won the War,

the left is giving away the peace,

What are we going to do about the quagmire in LA, DC and Philly to many murders there I think we need to redeploy our troops in our large cities to stop the US insurgency.

If they're running against Hillary or Obama it wouldn't matter what their beliefs are about the war.
