Yes it is. Just don't eat the entire cake and you should be alright.The occasional piece of cake isn't gonna kill you.

yes, because of the flour and oil. You can reduce the fat, by using applesauce in place of oil, which actually works very well. Use egg beaters. As for icing, use low fat yogurt, pudding, or nonfat ice cream on individual servings.

With frosting is even worse, because it's just sugar, but cake still has fat, sugars, refined flour...not good, not good at all...
