I was 16 when I got married we ended up in a divorce 2 years later.
We we still growing up and did not know what we wanted out of life... people change and their dreams change so if your thinking about getting married young DON'T ... you have some life to live before you jump into something that you dont have a clue about.

Yes, and like many people will tell you - don't jump into things!! There is a lot of experiences in your young lives that you NEED to do. Most of the time young whirlwind romances will end in a fierce battle of resentment toward the other person (in a few years you start pointing the finger at each other blaming one another for "missing out on the fun times") Please think things through of this is a question for you - college, travel, relationships are all ahead of you - don't rush life, it goes by fast enough, trust me!!!

No but i saw the show...my friend from high school (we graduated in 06) is already married with a baby on the way. I don't really talk to her that much any more now that I'm in college kind of far away from her. But I know right now i could never be living like that. You gotta have a little fun first!

Who has not been? Almost all teens get engaged at some point. Almost none of them marry that person. Teens are in a turmoil of emotion and hormones and it makes it very hard to determine what love truly is.

engaged and married at 17. in fact i had to have parent's permission to get married and boy was that worth a fight! lol
and no i wasn't pregnant! didn't think i was pregnant. it wasn't a shotgun wedding! in fact i was still a virgin. we brought our first child home on our second anniversary when i was 19. he is 2 years older than i am. we are now celebrating our 39th anniversary. still happy with our lives and each other. still in love. it worked for us......but the odds are stacked against 'young love'......

I'm 17 years old and married. :) And things are working out wonderfully. We both came from rough backgrounds which makes us both more determined to make this work.
