Read the information that comes with the pill. Pain in your leg (especially in your calf) could be caused by a potentially dangerous blood clot. If the pain you're experiencing sounds like what they describe in the packet that came with the pills, get to the doctor. The pill takes a couple days to get out of your system. Usually the way you know it's out is that you get a period. The residual effects of being on the pill can last for up to a month though. These are questions that you really should be asking your doctor, not a bunch of loonies on the internet.

There is an increased risk of blood clots when you're taking the pill because the shot does not have estrogen in it. The risk is higher if the woman smokes. Go to your doctor. However, you could have just slept in an awkward position.

I made the switch myself and had no problems.

I never had any systems like that with a birth control pill. However, I did have many systems from the shot. The shot can stay in your system for many months. I never had pain, but I have read of many woman who had pain associated with the shot.

It could be a blood clot. They do talk about such side effects on the direction/warnings. Read them or call your dr. I am not sure if would happen that fast though but better to check it out and be safe.

I doubt these two things were related at all. If you're on the pill and actually using it as a contraceptive, not just hormone therapy, you shouldn't skip two days in a row.
