ymdb.com was a site that allowed users to rank their twenty favorite films. The web address now takes you straight to imdb.com (Internet Movie Database). What happened?

There was def a site called yourmoviedatabase(ymdb.com), where you could list your top 20 fave films, and you could add comments to others lists, a pretty good site- it is gone now(when you click on the link it takes you to imdb.com) however.

Was there a site ever in history exists of this name.
If yes then it has been removed totally from internet.
Because I even don't find a link back or info about a site like that ever existing?
Well still ther is a movie database:-

I joined IMDB the summer or spring of 2003. I still have my account but I haven't done much since then but a few reviews here and there and countless arguments with stupid ppl on the message boards. lol

Why do people answer these questions when they don't know what you're talking about??

ymdb did exist, it was great. I haven't visited it for months so I'm upset to hear it's gone. But then again, it was always a bit shaky - it vanished for a few weeks a year or two ago.

Maybe it'll return?

This has always been under imdb.com but you must be a Premier user.

It's probably a case of IMdB & Amazon absorbing the website.
