Yellow journalism is a term given to putting opinions into a story instead of straight factual information. It may be done to sensationalize or many other purposes including atempts to sway people's decisions on an issue.

When people put the wrong things in the paper. The first rule of journalism is always report things that are factual and true with out any fault. SO if your journalism is yellow that means that you have lied about the facts and did not represent the truth in your reporting.

It is trying to sensationalize news instead of just reporting the facts as it is.
