They've been dating for some time now. She doesn't like using condoms. Now she is in and asking my friend what they should do. As he said, he always offered condoms during sex. She bluntly refuses saying she will take care of everything.

They are both at fault here.
Now I guess they need to step up and be adults and figure out the best way to handle the situation.

I have two thoughts: 1) its too late to worry about whether she is using condoms if she is already pregnant.
2) there is nothing that you can do about your friend's situation
But there is a lesson here, if your friend always "offered" condoms but didn't insist that they actually USE the condoms, then he is equally to blame for this situation. He CHOSE to have unprotected sex with this woman (or girl) and now he has to face the very predictable consequences.
Always remember, if you have unprotected sex, you'll end up with a baby, and probably sooner rather than later.. He could have insisted on using the condoms or else not had sex with her or he could have gotten her Depo-provera shots or something.
Now he is going to be a Dad, ready or not, and he will need to provide child support to the baby for the next 18 years.

Now that she is pregnant, he has deal with the fact that he is going to be father. If a girl refuses the condom, then the guy should/can refuse sex, unless he is willing to take a chance. Many girls will lie to a guy, just so they can get pregnant and use the baby to "hook" the guy.

Your friend still had a choice, he could have refused to sleep with her unless he used a condom! Guys can say No too if they want.

Well,congratulation on her pregnancy. She should be looking at the wedding terms and a place to live. The poor father now has to work for the rest of his life.
It is stupid people like this that shouldnt be having sex anyways... Can you HONESTLY tell me that she did NOT think she was going to get pregnant? And the GUY too - just how STUPID is HE?

Sounds like this girl was just out to hook him by saying she would take care of it then not. She was just using him and now he pays for the next 18 years.

Your friend needs to respect himself enough to use condoms, even if the girl doesn't. Unless - he is wanting an unexpected child or even an STD.

tell her nicely we have to use condoms and that you want to protect your life as well as yours if she doesnt agree then he should refrain from having sex.
