I missed the first 20 minutes. I know that George proposed to Callie, but did they actually elope in last night's eppy? George kept referrring to Callie as his wife towards the end. Thanks.

They went to Vegas and eloped Callie and George are now married. They joked in the beginning and said that Callie was now Callie McMalley

George and Callie (now Callie OMalley?) did elope! Pretty cute actually. Meredith was the only one to offer real congratulations. Her mom had a temporary stage of awareness from alzheimer's and was totally unbearable unless you remember that this seemingly brilliant doctor just realized she wasn't going to get better and she basically had been someone else for 5 years - then, ok, we can cut her some slack. Addison had a funny kind of lust-after-the help scene with Alex (Callie saw - very cute). The patient with the toxic blood came in ... you probably saw all the most important stuff toward the end - however if you have a few minutes I think it's on again tonight at 9, tune in!

George and Callie arrive at the Hospital hand in hand after eloping to Las Vegas.

Izzie and Miranda are ready to open their free clinic and all Izie can think of is how much it all cost her and was it worth it.

Derek and Preston are trying to impress Richard with their potential to be Chief when Mark shows hem up by telling Richard he is going to the clinic to show his support. Addison is just waiting for them to kill each other so that she can get the job by default.

Meanwhile Meredith has been summoned to the sanitorium because her mother is in complete remission and wants to see her. Meredith must tell her about the Alzhiemers and the news gives Ellis a heart problem.

Back at the hospital, Izzie and Alex are looking for patients for the clinic, stealing them from the emergency room.

Richard and George are waiting for an old patient of Richards who needs follow up surgery related to the cancer she used to have. Her boyfriend has no idea that she ever had cancer. He thought it was food poisoning.

Meredith arrives at th Hospital with her mother who is lucid and realizing that she is in Seattle and that meredith is an intern and that Richard is now Chief of Surgery. Of course, she will be Preston's patient but he assigns her to Christina who wants to be in on a surgery Preston is performing that day but he has decided to spread his surgeries out to other interns. He also wants an answer from her on his proposal.

In the Free clinic they have a man and his preteen daughter who he wants to be taught about feminine hygiene. Miranda makes Izzie handle it.

George is doing the work up on Richard's patient , drawing blood and all and learning how close the boyfriend is to his girlfriend even though she withheld the cancer from him, her boyfriend knew her middle name, something George does not know about Callie. In a breif greeting with Richard he tells Richard he is married and Richard tells him he is getting a divorce. This is all leading to the question what is Callie's middle name.

Back with Ellis, she is upset at Meredith for not being further along in her career. Meredith tells her that she is happy but that is not enough for her mother. She raised her to be someone outstanding. She mentioned that she is dating a doctor and that upset her mother more. Ellis wants to see her doctor, Derek, not knowing he is dating Meredith.

Suddenly George is getting deathly ill. He handed the blood off to a nurse and heads to the clinic. Alex takes his place back in the surgery that is going to happen.


Callie is noticing that Addison is looking at Alex like a pice of meat.

Christina is having to do the work up on Ellis and can't look at her in the eye. Ellis knows that she is Meredith's friend because of this and starts to talk to her. Eventually she tells her to go get her Derek.

Izzie is finishing up with her patient though Miranda sees something in the girl and send her father to go do paperwork. It takes only a second before the girl asks Miranda if she is pregnant.

Christina tells Meredith how impressive her mother is and that she asked for Derek. Meredith expects the worst.

Suddenly the beds in the clinic are filling up with anyone who touched Richard's patient's blood.

Meredith talks to Derek to warn him but he thinks she is overreacting.

George who thought he might have been having a panic attack realizes that the blood is toxic. he calls the Operating Room but it is too late. Alex Richard and everyone in the OR are lying on the floor passed out. because her cut her open.

Derek talks to Meredith and it takes her no time at all to figure out that he is sleeping with Meredith and she accuses him of holding her back.

Miranda tells the girl's father and her that she is no pregnant and has no diseases but she will if she keeps having sex at her age. Miranda is sorry the girl lost her mother but this is not right and someone has to tell her to stop, so Miranda does.


Christina tells Ellis she will need a procedure. Ellis wants drugs instead but she is an Alzhiemers patient who has problems taking meds. She would rather die, but Christina points out that it is not her decision. It is Meredith's.

Later, Meredith in defense of her love life tells Ellis that she is what happened to her life. She held Meredith back, but she will not be the perso who let her mother die to have a life.

Next thing, you know George is on oxygen and all of the attendings are treating the people who were in the OR. George went in there and pulled them all out to safety, not wanting anyone else to get sick.

Meredith is asking Derek what she can do but he tells her to go ask her resident.

The problem is the patient in the O.R will soon be coming out of anesthesia. Preston and Derek are gearing up in hazmet suits but it is taking too long so Addison runs in with a mask to up the drugs. She collapses in Mark's arms on the way out the OR.

The boys get into the OR and work as fast as they can to finish the surgery and close up the patient before they run out of oxygen.

Back with Ellis, Christina has to ask her a personal question. She wants to know how to budget a life and medicine. Ellis tells her that she failed at it but it can be done. You just have to make it happen.

Back in the clinic, Addison is coming out of it and who should she see but Alex looking sexy. She has to get out of there.

In the Gallery, Richard and the girls, Meredith, Izzie and Christina are watching the boys cut. They are ready to close but the intestines are swollen. Richard realizes what is wrong and tells them how to fix the problem only their air runs out and they both pass out.

George is talking to Callie now about his heroics and his presumed panic attack. He wants to know her middle name. She wouldn't tell him earlier before he passed out now he wans to know. She tells him Euphagenia and tells him now his friends have more to pick at.

Richard, Mark, and the girls are down in the scrub room deciding who should run in there to pack and close the woman's incision. Mark refuses to go saying he is the only attending not exposed. Christina goes in first to pack the opening. She comes back and Izzie goes in to try and cover it. Meredith goes in last closing the opening and making sure it is secure.

The woman ends up in a secure room awaiting the point that she is no longer toxic. George shows her boyfriend how to use the intercom. She apologizes for not telling him everything. He tells her all the bad things "are" behind her now that he is there for her.

Izzie tells Miranda that she is sorry but she did get to help with a patient. Miranda was telling her about their eigh million dollar patient. She didn't tell her how rewarding helping that girl became.

Richard finally goes to see Ellis. He did not want to see her to tell her that he was right to stay with Adele all those years ago. But he finally decided to take advantage of the remission to tell her that Meredith is doing well. She asked him to watch over her. It almost sounded as if she was telling him Merdith is his daughter when he told her she would have had brothers and sister if they had been able to stay together. She wished that had happened. He told her not to fret about it now and just to relax.

In the locker room the interns are changing and they are getting a little catty about George and his quickie wedding and are they both moving into the house or not and george tells them to chill . He tells them not to push Callie away because that would be to push him away as well. He also told them her complete name Calliope Euphegenia Torres O'Malley. Alex had joked earlier her name was now Callie O'Malley.

Meredith went to Ellis's room to tell her that she will be special one day, that she cared for her, this meant alot to make her proud of her. Ellis thought she looked like her daughter Meredith. Richard told Meredith the remission ended an hour ago.

At the hotel Addison is having sex with Mark and he is telling her she told him she did not care for him in that way. She told him she was not caring for him in that way as they are having sex.

And at Preston's place, Christina gives him back his ring telling him she is a surgeon and does not do rings. He asked her if that was a yes or a no. She told him it was a yes and he shouted with joy as he picked her up and hugged her at the good news.
