u might need to do slight tweeking if the bike pops when suddenly slowing down, or backfires when rolling on the gas hard. i would first see if the bike does that, and if it doesnt, leave it as is. i'd also throw in a set of fresh plugs after puttin on the exhaust, run it for about 50 or 100 miles, then take a look at plug color. the 'holy grail' color is a light tan. if its an off-ash grey, it's slightly lean, but not too lean that it will hurt it. if its too rich, the plugs will be coal black. paper white is too lean.

You'll probably be O.K. Your new pipe will probably create similar back pressure. Check your plugs for a nice tan color after a days ride and adjust jetting if needed.

yes it is worth it you will find a marked difference in performance and it will run much smoother, and yes you will have to probably go a little richer

more than likely you will need to re-jet and its not cost effective to do that ,its a 25yr old bike
