I'm a Libra with a Scorpio rising too! I do keep to myself at times, and because of that, people mistake me as secretive and probably not approachable, but don't feel that way, because I'm very open, and love to mingle.



A Scorpio mom is definitely in tune with family more than friends, so maybe the Libra daughter finds that to be too in your face. Also, Libras are kinda difficult for Scorpios to understand because Scorpios are straight to the point, and Libras like to dance around it because we love to talk which can drive them insane. Also, Libra daughter may love material things, and beautiful surroundings where the mom may think Libra daughter could be a little stuck up. I think you two must have this love/hate not so much hate relationship, but probably love to drive each other crazy, because you know in the end, you still love each other.

O-m-g. I'm in a similar position as you, except it's 2 guys and both are Scorpios. Let me tell you, scorpios are CLINGY as hell! One of the scorpios in my life, he is also my ex, but he has liked me for four years. The other I met a month ago, made the accident of giving him my #, and he use to ask me all of these personal questions. Anyways enough about me. There are a lot of personality clashes. I'm a Scorpio and I was engaged to a Libra and I can tell you a lot of the problems you'll need to work out. Libra and Scorpio come together out of pure attraction, it's very intense at first but it doesn't last. Here though, It doesn't matter because in your case, it's your mother, so you'll skip that part obviously and jump right into the trouble.

First of all, You both have very different ways of viewing the world. Libra is an air sign, they're very logical people. You view things through your mind, open-minded logic. Scorpio is a water sign, they experience life through their emotions. Your mother will not understand your logical way of viewing life. She won't understand how you can argue all sides of an issue and never take a side. This will probably frustrate and confuse her. You'll probably have to just talk it out with her, explain that you're different people and have different ways of viewing things. It won't be easy, Scorpios see things in black and white. Whereas you see shades of grey.

Libra is also indecisive. I wouldn't be surprised if your mother gets frustrated when you have trouble making decisions. She may think you lack goals, never thinking about your future. Scorpios are controlling so she may start pushing you to do things. Libras are controlling as well though, in a completely different way. There's going to be a power struggle between you.
