Good question. I don't think I ever feel completely safe. There are times when I just want to lay my head in someones lap, and pretend I'm just a kid again and that, for a brief moment or two, nothing untoward can touch me. But that's fleeting, because the minute I raise my head back up I become a moving target once again.

I so agree with Dyson...
There is no safety,be it from others or from yourself.
But at times it is nice to pretend that everything is ok and nothing can harm us....
