My husband is getting transfered to San Antonio and we know nothing of the city....I am looking to see if any one can give us some advice on things down there. What are good areas to live things like that...I am looking for personal experiance..If possiable. We are taking a trip down there in March to look at areas and I am wondering what areas we should start looking in. I have three young children as well. In March when we go down there we are staying at a hotel near the Air Force base so I am wondering if that is a good area. Please let me know what you think.. And thanks in Advance.

SA is great!

Learn Spanish or Tex-mex.

You do not want to stay anywhere inside Loop 410

Lots of attractions, TX history and great food. If ye want to be in a good school district and very close to SA, look into Schertz,TX

You may email me for anymore specifics

Have a sister there in Selma..which is about 20 minutes north of downtown SA. Good area, close to everything and right off the interstate. Another good area outside of SA is Shertz (i think that's how you spell it). This is a very nice area, good schools too. I am teacher and have interviewed in this area. Also anywhere North of SA is your best bet for family living. Check out www.mysa.com for more information.

Warm WIshes on your move
