I believe in Tithing. 10% of all earning to Charity.

Creating jobs is also important. The company needs to have a good objective for these jobs though. Certainly, when corporations gain momentum and start forming Oligopolies, then the jobs get static. It's like when I play the Monopoly board game (which, I'm darn good at) ... there's a point where I own everything, have hotels everywhere, and there's no where else to go ... I'm inches from concurring all ... and I get depressed 'cas It’s lonely at the top ... so, I either make a bogus play to help someone keep playing, or I'll quickly kill all other players so we can start over ... even level, and then I get to compete again.

What I'm seeing is that companies will fire over 60% of their work force (Charles Schwab) and then pay the Operating Manager huge bonuses ... then they'll rehire some of the old people back and some new people ... but nothings changed so it's like when I don't want the game to end and just stagnate by prolonging the inevitable --- restarting.

I'm excited when I see development in places like India, China, and Russia. This is true growth ... however, at the same time, I'm hoping for a new start in new opportunities for Americans. Economic Cycles will re-new America but, I think that the Corporations are so excited too about the growth potential abroad that they're pooping on us at home.

A problem with too much charity is that it makes people lazy. Why work? I can get it from the Government ... why save for retirement; it's not my responsability ... Then corporations avoid taxes --- Give us tax breaks 'cas we're ungrateful for the roads & police you give us so we can operate --- and we Corporations don't want spend money to save the enviroment.

Balance with "ALL" is necessary; too much in one direction can be damaging ... tithing to charity and creating new jobs both good things to do ... but America's lost her entrepreneurship with the Oligopolies and Monopolies ... She (America) needs a good change.

Mashallah, you have a good future ahead of you! First of all, Zakat ( Charity ) is where you give money to the poor. So, you need a job to make money to give to charity. Even right now, at your age, you can make a change to this world. You make a donation at your local Masjid or provide clothes or canned food for the needy. Many many choices for you to choose.. Just keep praying 5 times a day and read Quran and Dua'a and inshallah, Allah will help you with your plan. Salam

Charity, because by giving to charities, you help stimulate processes that will lead to people getting jobs and helping solve important issues (like health care in regards to medication, and education). It solves two problems instead of just one

create more jobs, definitely. better to give them a chance to work for their money than to give it to them for free (and they do not contribute back to society).
