OK, lets get a few things out of the way.
The flag was wrinkled because it was rolled in a tight container.
When the flag was deployed, it shook from the motion.
Then, lets look at one of the inconsistencies in the hoax claim. If it was in a big studio, how come there would be wind there?
In the lat 60's, the Russians were at a race with the US to be firts on the moon. The Soviet Unon had the technology and the motive to prove a moon landing to be a hoax if it was, as it would have shamed the US, and allowed them to be first on the moon for real. Russia made no such claim. Why? Because it was real.

"We are in a strategic space race with the Russians, and we have been losing. The first man-made satellite to orbit the earth was named Sputnik. The first living creature in space was Laika. The first rocket to the moon carried a Red flag. The first photograph of the far side of the moon was made with a Soviet camera. If a man orbits earth his year his name will be Ivan. These are unpleasant facts that the Republican candidate would prefer us to forget. Control of space will be divided in the next decade. If the Soviets control space they can control earth, as in past centuries the nation that controlled the seas dominated the continents. This does not mean that the United States desires more rights in space than any other nation. But we cannot run second in this vital race. To insure peace and freedom, we must be first."
John Kennedy
If the moon landing was fake, couldn't we have also been first with satellites, orbiting dogs, unmanned rockets to the moon, and orbiting a man? How could we really control space if we just faked it?
Human placed laser reflectors are on the moon and used by astronomers.
The flag looks like it is waving because there was a vertical pole AND a horizontal rod WHICH THE ASTRONAUTS COULD NOT DEPLOY FULLY so it LOOKs like it is waving. If it was faked, wheres the blowing dust, why is there wind in a studio and couldn't they have afforded another take?

It has been years since I've seen the footage of the moon landing. To answer Steph, who mentions that the US flag is "blowing"...in the process of planting the flag in the moon's surface the flag could start moving. Once it begins moving in the relative vacuum of space (due to the human interference), there's no force to stop it. With little or no gravity, there would need to be a counteracting force to stop the flag from moving. Since the moon's gravity is 1/6 of that on Earth, it would take longer for the flag to stop shaking than what we saw on video.
The United States was in a true Space Race with the Soviet Union, but if the moon landing was a hoax, someone within the "conspiracy" would have eventually blabbed to someone about it being fake. As the saying goes, "2 people can keep a secret if one of them is dead." There would have been too many people involved for there not to be someone in dissent who would give up the secret.

We went to the Moon!!!
Every issue raised to question the authenticity of a moon landing has been debunked.
If I sound bored, it is because I am. Aren't conspiracies a wonderful thing. This one would have required the absolute silence of a half million or more people. Nixon was President at this time. Now he couldn't keep a burglary quiet when only 8 people knew about it but a Moon landing with half a million was a piece of cake. Come on guys, give me a break.

Come on. Its been 35 years since the first moon landing, time for everyone to get over this "conspiracy theory" stuff and move on to more important things.
The US landed 2 men on the moon in July 1969, and a total of 12 men during the Apollo missions.
It was NOT a hoax, it happened.

they did go and the best piece of evidence is when they put the flag in the ground! While it is in the hand it is moving slightly but as soon as they put it in the ground it stops moving, this is clearly seen on the hand, at the start the hand is on the visor of the helmet, on the next picture taken 2 seconds later or something, his hand is on his hip but the flag is exactly the same! Proof! They dont need to go back because there is nothing there! Or, maybe they had alien contact and were told never to come back which in turn led to a cover up and all those people involved with nasa dying!

Of course the moon landings were faked. NASA has thousands of employees and spends billions of dollars to do nothing but fake things in a movie studio.
I'll just bet you thought those pictures from
Hubble were real.

Or the ones of Saturn from Cassini.

Yes, they really went to the moon and it was to get ahead of the Russians. Ironically, the moon turned out to pretty much be just a big rock. While we were spending money to walk around on the moon the Russians devoted their space program bucks to kicking our *** in other areas of manned space flight.

We did land on the moon. People just think that landing on the moon is just so amazing it's hard to believe. Besides, if we didn't land on the moon, why do the people after us even draw attention to our flag when they landed?

To think that the US government would be capable of pulling off a hoax of this magnitude is the ultimate proof that it DID happen!
The idea that you could get all those people involved to go along with the charade and not have one person let it slip that it was all a gag is ridiculous.
