Why are YOU scared? It doesn't have anything to do with you unless he says things like that just to upset you.
He probably wasn't serious, just saying something really outrageous to get a reaction. How does he behave? Does he say things like that often or act up in class? If so, I'd tell his counselor what he said and let the counselor handle it.
