if you could come back, you wouldnt be wanting to linger here. this place is for the living, not the dead. too much interstellar travel to complete. and living life is over, so will no longer hold a lust. just like a rollercoaster ride, its ups and downs are vivid when you are experienced it, then when its over, its over and the memories fade.
so it is with death... whether you are still you or not is debatable as you are not the you that lived, but the you that died. so I say no way, you would have more important things to do, as no amount of haunting is going to bring life back, or that memory to become vivid.
I know you asked in jest, but since I cant sleep, I thought you would enjoy the read.

No, we have a ghost in our house now and it doesn't cause any problems.I think it's an older gentleman and he seems to have an affection for our cats. I often have to tell him to leave them alone because our cats don't like that much attention. As far as I can tell he doesn't have hardly any contact with our dogs. Occasionally he will make them sit. They don't pay him too much attention either.
So you can come and live at our house after you become a ghost, I think our gentleman would like the company.

Yes, in fact I would appreciate it. I've always wondered if a ghost could really haunt someone. We need to arrange some sort of sign so that I know it's really you...

Kinda, cause God wouldnt leave a good person on earth after death to suffer, but he would a bad person. So that would mean you wouldnt be a good ghost. But you do sound like a nice person. So you wont stay here. :)

It's a mystery-we all are or may be getting watched by family or a close friend who died-who knows.

There are no ghost. When a man dies, he does not return to his house.

Sure! We could hang out and everything. Of course when we'd go places in public it would be assumed by others that I'm schizophrenic since no one can see you but still, I welcome you with open arms ;)
